Wow...25 Years Old! Can you believe that the Texas Plant Protection Conference was organized in the Fall of 1988. Its initial propose was to promote the safe, effective use of crop protection techniques and to serve as a forum for communications and exchange of ideas.
The conference continues to bring together Texas's top agricultural leaders, researchers, consultants, farmers, ag industry and extension personnel. Regarded as the top crop protection conference in the Texas, this two day, action packed event continues to focus on education, training , and information exchange. Other Conference Events
TPPA Awards Luncheon and Business Meeting- Be sure to attend the luncheon at noon on December 11. The TPPA Awards will be presented and some of the original organizers of the conference will be honored.
Poster Section- Researchers, including graduate students will display information about their research work. Graduate students complete for cash prizes.
Pest ID Contest -Dr. Barron Rector presents an excellent Pest ID Contest. Cash prizes are presented to the top 3 winners.
CEU's -Both TDA & CCA ceu's will be offered.
Exhibition Hall- The industry displays will be in the high traffic area along with the Posters and coffee breaks.
