Top Supplier of U.S. Cotton-Rich Denim Joins COTTON USA Program in China

Cone Denim in China uses approximately 34,000 bales of U.S. cotton in its denim fabrics and has joined the COTTON USA Mark licensing program following CCI’s participation in the Kingpins show in Hong Kong. CCI’s recruitment of Cone Denim pulls more U.S. cotton fiber throughout the global denim supply chain, as Cone operates in the United States, Mexico, China, Nicaragua, Turkey and India.

Cone Denim, a vertically integrated denim operation processing raw cotton through to finished fabric, has been a leading supplier of denim fabrics to top denim apparel brands since 1891.

CCI’s participation in trade shows such as Kingpins promotes U.S. cotton and its COTTON USA licensees to a global audience. The biannual Kingpins show in Hong Kong features a highly-edited selection of denim fabric mills from the U.S., Japan, China, India, Morocco, Mexico and Europe. COTTON USA licensees including Central Fabrics, Zibo Lanyan, Kurabo, Prosperity, Qian Jin, Base Wealth and Deyao joined the Kingpins show in August to showcase their U.S. cotton-rich denim.
